About
Nine friends meet at Casa D’Amico, a log cabin by Pine Lake, Colorado, for their annual Christmas vacation. Only one will live to tell the tale.
Snowflakes fall gently from the darkened skies, blanketing the log cabin by Pine Lake in White River National Park with a quiet serenity. But for San Francisco homicide detective Alfie Burstow and his friends, this picturesque setting holds a bittersweet significance. For years, this cabin has been their traditional Christmas vacation spot, a place filled with cherished memories. But this year, as they gather for one last holiday together, the impending sense of loss hangs heavy in the air.
Just as Alfie is about to embark on his much-needed vacation, a call from his partner pulls him back into the grim reality of his job. Two murder victims have been discovered in an apartment Alfie knows all too well. And to his horror, one of the victims is his own lover and partner, Paige Lo Pinto. With the weight of his forbidden relationship now exposed, Alfie must navigate the treacherous waters of guilt and grief as he joins his friends at Pine Lake.
But as the group settles in for their final Christmas party, they are unaware that a killer lurks among them, picking them off one by one. Dressed in an elf costume and wearing a fake beard, the slasher is determined to make this holiday season one to remember. And one thing’s for sure: the snow will run red by the time this mystery is solved.
Slasher Dancer Prancer is an extreme festive slasher horror from D.C. Brockwell, author of The Met Murder Mysteries and Mr. Invisible. With buckets of blood and plenty of sexual scenes, horror readers are in for a sexy and gory treat this Christmas.
